FAQ
A pair of shears takes about 20 minutes and a clipper blade about 10. A worn or damaged blade, or one with a poor sharpening behind it, can take longer.
Shears are $25 a pair and clipper blades are $10 each. Those are our base prices.
Mostly shears for hair salons and clipper blades for pet groomers, and other blades as they come up. If a tool is damaged or worn beyond repair, we'll talk it over with you before we turn it down.
Our work is salon shears and grooming clipper blades, and our route is booked around salons and grooming shops. If we already sharpen for your shop, we can do your kitchen knives at the same visit.
We usually set up at your shop and sharpen there. If that won't work for you, choose mail-in on the booking request and mail your tools to us instead.
From our base in Sebago, Maine, we come to hair salons, grooming shops and other businesses across southern, central and western Maine and eastern New Hampshire. Regular stops include Bridgton, Naples, Windham, Gorham, Westbrook, Portland, Fryeburg, Norway, Lewiston, Auburn, Brunswick and North Conway. Check the schedule for dates near you, or mail your tools in.

We take cash, Venmo and major credit cards.
